![]() But, just wanted to check in and see what the story or issue might be (or if I might even have a setting wrong.?) I know these are brand new processors, so it would make sense if there's a patch needed to bring Camtasia into compliance with how they work so that the program can take advantage of them. So, my question to you all is: for those of you who picked up one of these machines, is this your experience as well? For those of you who have had an M1 Macbook Pro, Air, or Mini within the last year: does this happen for you as well? When exporting, a trip to Activity Monitor reveals that Camtasia is using almost none of the processor to do its work (usually around 30-40%, which MacOS terms I believe means it is is only 30-40% of ONE CORE of this 8 core processor ). A simple 10-minute video (only images and audio) took a little over 5 minutes on the old machine. However, the export times are close to DOUBLE the length they were on the old machine. I picked up one of the new Macbook Pros, in large part to improve my export time from Camtasia because it was pretty slow on my older Intel-based Macbook Pro. Just wanted to see if I'm living in a bizzaro world or if anyone else is having this issue. ![]()
